Ayia Napa is a village at the eastern part of Cyprus. It took its name from the ancient
Greek word “Napa” which means “wooded valley” as the area was covered with a thick forest.

Ayia Napa was a small fishing village. After the Turkish invention 1974 Ayia Napa became one of the most popular tourist destinations in the whole world. This is not only of its night life but also for the long sandy beaches with the crystal clean waters and the natural beauty.

By visiting Ayia Napa, you can experience diving, water sports, boat trips, cycling, walk through nature’s trails,and nice traditional food. Some important places of interest are the sea caves, the Makronissos tombs, the old monastery  and the “Thalassa” Municipal Museum.
